Call24Hour Ltd is a dedicated Social Alarm provider supporting over 9000 people and businesses throughout Plymouth , the South Hams, Torbay and all areas of Devon . As a joint venture partnership company owned by Plymouth City Council and Tor Homes (a Registered Social Landlord) Call24Hour provides a range of services aimed primarily at social and community protection.

Now a joint venture partnership company owned by Tor Homes (formerly South Hams Housing) and Plymouth City Council, Call24Hour offers a round the clock monitoring service to anyone who needs the reassurance of knowing someone will respond if the need or an emergency arises.

In 2007 Call24Hour have been working towards a rigorous inspection by the Telecare Services Association (TSA) in order to illustrate that we adhere to their strict TSA Code of Practice and to enable Call24Hour to become an accredited member.

Following the audit inspection Call24Hour had a great result and have passed part 1 (alarm monitoring) and part 2 (installations) with flying colours.

This is the climax to a successful and productive year saw Call24Hour completely refurbish the Telecare Response Centre, install the latest Telecare calls handling equipment to enable development for many years to come, and successfully develop Telecare in Plymouth in partnership with Plymouth City Council.

Otherwise known by the trade name of 'Piper' Alarms ( Tunstall Telecom), these simple to use pendant alarms offer reassurance and protection to the vulnerable and disabled in the community, 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
