VAT Exemption for your Telecare Alarm

Which equipment and services can be bought without paying VAT?

If you have a long-term illness or you're disabled, you won't have to pay VAT when you buy or rent a telecare alarm from Call24.

You also won't have to pay VAT on any charges made for the installation, repair and maintenance of the alarm, or on any spare parts and accessories needed for them.

We will talk to you about this when we fit your alarm and help you to complete a simple declaration that we will retain with your records so that you do not have to pay VAT on your alarm package.
